How to sign up with Protx for 1&1 e-shops


Professional eShop 
This article applies to 1&1 Professional & Developer eShops.

What you will need.


* A 1&1 Professional or Developer eShop
* A merchant account with a bank, with an Internet Merchant Number


How to get your Protx account.



* Go along to Protx.com the service that you will need is the Small Business. For more information please click here.
* From the main Protx page Click on Apply Now and then Small Business, you will need to sign up for an account login and password.


Step 1 Enter your company account information, then click the "Next" button.
Step 2 Enter your Contact Details, then click on the "Next" button.
Step 3 In the Technical Details section, you will need to pick that you are using the 1&1 system. The "1&1" option can be selected from the drop down box.



Click on the "Next" button to continue.
Step 4 On the 2nd page of Technical Questions you will need to pick "Shared Servers, ISP-Hosted" for the "Hosting Environment".



Click on the "Next" button to continue.
Step 5 Choose the Payment Options that you would like to have.
Step 6 Enter the details of you Merchant Account, and click the "Next" button.
Step 7 Confirm the information and follow any other on-screen instructions.
