What do I need in order to work with SharePoint?



To participate and work on a team website you do not need any additional tools besides a web browser.

Additionally, if you use a client programme such as Microsoft Office XP 2003 that is compatible with SharePoint Team Services, you can work smoothly with the team website, save documents to the site, edit team website documents within the client programme, and move information between client programmes and the team website.

Although you cannot edit SharePoint Web directly with other programmes such as GoLive, Dreamweaver, and other HTML editors, it is possible to create further HTML or ASPX documents with these programmes and then upload them using WebDav or with FrontPage 2003.
