How does the package system work?


The packages that are on offer here at 1&1 are a pre-set number of services and features collected under one title to make it easier for you to choose the package most suitable to you. Each package differs in its composition in services and features provided. For example, if you choose the Home Package then you will be entitled to 800 MB web space, 300 mailboxes, 500 e-mail aliases etc whereas where you to choose a Business Package then you would be entitled to 2,500 MB (2.5 GB) web space, 700 pop mailboxes and 1,500 e-mail aliases.

When a package is purchased, then any payment made towards it is for the package and its features only, regardless of how many domains are contained within it.

If you have a Home package with a 1 GB web space, and want to create a number of websites, then you can purchase or transfer numerous domains into that package to share the web space and e-mail allocations, the price of the package will not increase.
