Who can have a Domain/Web Site and what are the benefits?


Question: Who can have a Domain name or Web Site?
Answer: Anyone can have a Domain or web site, it is not limited to big companies. 1&1’s
Internet services are not restricted to businesses only, if you have a personal website (for example
related to a hobby of yours) or a cause/charity you would like to propagate then you can use our
services. Our Home package has been designed specifically for the non-business home user (although
the Home package can be used by small businesses as well).

Question: How can a website help me or my company?
Answer: Primarily, it will provide you with a new medium to present your products and
services to future customers. Unlike static leaflets or advertisements, a website will allow
customers/visitors to browse through your products, use or read through some of them (if they are
available online for example) and even allows them to order your products and services directly
from the net.
