Excess Bandwidth/traffic Fees

Excess Traffic Fees


In the unlikely event your monthly traffic allowance is exceeded, 1&1 will
not lock your account or stop any further traffic usage. Any traffic exceeding the
monthly traffic allowance is charged at an extremely competitive standard rate of
99p per Gigabyte of additional traffic used, one of the cheapest in the UK. This
allows you to keep your content online at the times when you have the most visitors.

Please note: All packages ordered before 2004 are subject to a £5 per Gigabyte
charge for excess traffic, however, to take advantage of the latest rates,
upgrading to a newer package is recommended.

To check how much traffic you've used, at any given time, please use the URL below,
replacing place domainname here with your domain (e.g. johnsmith.co.uk).
Please note that you'll need your FTP user name and password to login.

When there is no stated bandwidth limitation listed it is (six) 6 GB per month!
