Is it possible to change or upgrade my package?


If you find that there is another package more suited to your needs then it may be possible to upgrade.

It is possible to upgrade from any Linux package to either another higher rated Linux package or
Microsoft package.

It is possible to upgrade from any Microsoft package to either another higher
rated Microsoft package or Linux package.

It is possible to upgrade an eShop hosting package to another higher rated eShop hosting package.

It is not possible to upgrade from a Microsoft shared hosting package, to a dedicated
server, either Managed, Root or Admin, you have to order the new server with a new domain name, and
when this is live move the domains over from the package and then close the old package.

It is possible to upgrade a Linux shared hosting package to a Managed server.

It is only possible to downgrade your package by contacting the 1&1 Support team through your
1&1 Control Panel.

You can only upgrade your package once every 30 days.


You can upgrade your package by simply logging into your customer configuration menu.

To access your configuration menu and upgrade your package, follow the steps below:

1. Go to the login page, which is at http://admin.1and1.co.uk
2. Insert your domain name/account number and your account password
3. Click on the package that you wish to upgrade
4. Please select from the configuration menu on the left 'Upgrade Your Package'
5. Select the package that you require to upgrade to, click continue and confirm on the following screen


Please note
It is not possible to upgrade or change Dedicated Servers!
