How do I get my website online?
| The files which make up your website must be transferred to your account via file transfer protocol (FTP). This requires an FTP client program. Our software CD contains the easy-to-use FTP program WS_FTP Pro or Wise FTP. The FTP server is [yourname].co.uk (for Sarah Grant's web www.sarah-grant.co.uk it would be sarah-grant.co.uk). The FTP user name and the FTP password are shown in your configuration menu in the "accounts" section. Please note that there is no FTP access available for all Starters Packages (and by domain registration only). |
