Outlook Express RICHED32 errors


Problem


When you try to write a message in Outlook Express, you may get one of the following error messages:

* The operation could not be completed. Riched32.dll failed to load. Please re-install.
* MSIMN caused an invalid page fault in module Riched32.dll
* MSIMN caused an exception 0000006h in module Riched32.dll


Solution


The cause of this error message is a damaged Riched32.dll file. The fix for this is on the Microsoft Knowledge Base.
