How to change the Outgoing Mail SMTP to port 587 (Outlook 2004)


Step 1 Start MS Outlook 2003
Step 2 Click on "Tools" from the main menu
Step 3 Click on E-mail Accounts
Step 4 Make sure that "View or change existing e-mail accounts" is
selected then click on the "Next" button.
Step 5 Select the E-mail address but clicking it once
Step 6 Click the "Change" button.
Step 7 Click the "More Settings ..." button
Step 8 Click the "Advanced" tab
Step 9 Change the Outgoing mail (SMTP): from 25 to 587
Step 10 Click the "OK" button
Step 11 Click the "Next" button
Step 12 Click the Finish button
Step 13 Restart MS Outlook 2003
