How to check your Mailbox password

To check the passwords for an existing Mailbox please use the following instructions.

Step 1	Log into the 1&1 Control Panel if you have more that one package select the package that contains the Domain Name and E-mail account that you want to check.
Step 2	From the main Overview screen click on the E-mail option.
Step 3	Select the E-mail address that you wish to check the password for.
Step 4	This will open up all the settings for the mailbox and associated E-mail address.
Step 5	From the E-Mail Settings screen, you need to click on "Edit" button next to the "Incoming E-mail Delivery Points".
Step 6	Click on Check Password link. Please note This window pops up, so you may need to allow your browser to allow pop-ups from 1and1.co.uk
Step 7	Type in what you think your password should be and then click the "Next" button. Please note DO NOT press Enter this will close the window without checking.
Step 8	If the password is incorrect you will see the following screen shown Delete what you have typed in and re-enter the password, then click the "Next" button.
Step 9	However if it is correct then you will see a Process Successful screen. Click the "Close" button to finish.
