How do I set up spam filtering for an e-mail?


To enable 1&1 Anti-SPAM follow these instructions:
Step 1 Log in to 1& Control Panel http://admin.1and1.co.uk
If you have only one contract, you will be taken to Administration area. If you have multiple contracts,
click the Package you want to access. You will then be taken into Administration area.

Step 2 Click 'E-Mail' in the 'Package Features' section of the Control Panel.


Step 3 Select the e-mail and click '1&1 Anti-SPAM'.


Step 4 Select the e-mail account that you want to configure the SPAM settings for.

Step 5 You have 5 options at this stage:




* OFF Incoming spam messages are placed directly in the spam folder.
* You will receive a daily spam report e-mail.
* Messages in the spam folder will be automatically erased after a month.



* LOW Incoming spam messages are placed directly in the spam folder.
* You will receive a daily spam report e-mail.
* Messages in the spam folder will be automatically erased after a month.



* MEDIUM Incoming spam messages are placed directly in the spam folder.
* You will receive a daily spam report e-mail.
* Messages in the spam folder will be automatically erased after a month.



* HIGH Incoming spam messages are placed directly in the spam folder.
* You will receive a daily spam report e-mail.
* Messages in the spam folder will be automatically erased after a month.



* Settings that you specify.

Step 6 Select your choice and click "OK" to save your settings.


Step 7 A confirmation is displayed.
