How to set Up MS Entourage Mac OS X


Setting up Mail in Mac OS X


For instructions on how to create a POP3 email account click here.

Start Entourage

From the menu bar select Tools then Accounts,

This will bring up the Accounts window.

Click on New and then Mail


You now have a choice, you can let Entourage guide you through the setup, or you can configure the account manually. To configure Manually, click on the "Configure account manually" Button. Click here for more information on manual configuration.

Type in the name that you wish to be displayed on your emails

and click


Type in your e-mail address


Please note
This will automatically default to sign up for a Hotmail account, please make sure that the "I already have and e-mail address that I would like to use." option is selected.

Then Click


You now need to add your mail server addresses, these are;

Incoming mail server : pop.1and1.co.uk
Outgoing (SMTP)mail server : auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk



Then Click


Type in your Mailbox number and password, this was the number you were given and the password you set when you created the e-mail account.


Then Click

Give the account a name, this is how you will identify the account with in Entourage.




Then Click Finish
