How to change a Forwarding Account to a Mailbox

Step 1	Select the E-mail account that you want to make the changes to, this is done by placing a tick in the check box next to the E-mail address.
Step 2	Once Selected click on the Settings button. This will show all the settings for the selected E-mail account.
Step 3	Click the "Edit" button next to "Incoming E-mail Delivery Points"
Step 4	You have a drop down box next to "Mailbox or Forward", click on this and pick "Mailbox" This has changed the Settings for the E-mail account from a Forwarding Account to a Mailbox. Now you will need to configure this Mailbox. You will need to create a password for this Mailbox, this will be used when your E-mail program downloads and Sends E-mails, also if you log into the 1&1 WebMail system http://webmail.1and1.co.uk
Step 5	Once you have added your passwords and chosen if you want to have the 1&1 Anit-SPAM, or have Virus Protection added you need to click the "Save" button.
Step 6	When you have clicked the "Save" button if there are no problems you should get a "Process Finished" screen click on the "Go To Overview" button.
Step 7	You will see that the setting for the E-mail account have changed.

This will take around 5 - 10 minutes to be come fully active.

Step 4	You have a drop down box next to "Mailbox or Forward", click on this and pick "Forward" This has changed the Settings for the E-mail account from a Mailbox to a Forwarding Account. Now you will need to configure where E-mails to this address are Forwarded on to. Any E-mails that are in the Mailbox will be lost.
Step 5	Type in the E-mail address where all E-mails will be forwarded to. Click on the "Save" button to make your changes.
Step 6	When you have clicked the "Save" button if there are no problems you should get a "Process Finished" screen click on the "Go To Overview" button.
Step 7	You will see that the setting for the E-mail account have changed.
