How to create a Catch All E-mail account

Why do I need a catch all email account !

You do not need to have a catch all email account, however it can prove to be very useful. For example,
if someone mistypes your email address then the catch all email account will pick it up, rather than the
user getting a "User Not Found" reply from our mail servers.

Also if you are signing up for an online service the rather than being limited to you@yourdoamin.co.uk
you could have service@yourdomain.co.uk . A few examples that our support team have used in the past;

email address email goes to service
pizza@mydomain.co.uk *@mydomain.co.uk Online pizza ordering
sparks@mydomain.co.uk *@mydomain.co.uk Online Electricity Billing
JunkMail@mydomain.co.uk *@mydomain.co.uk When signing up for special offers*

Please note
While some organizations and companies such as 1&1 do not pass on your
email address to other organisations most do

Step 2 Select your account.

Step 3 Click on the Mail Icon

Step 4 The Create a new email address, to get the catch all function you will need to have * as the first part
of the address, so you will end up with an email address of *@yourdomain.co.uk

Step 5 Create a password and click 'Next'

Step 6 Make sure the Auto-Responder feature is off and click 'Next'.

Step 7 Click 'Submit' to finish setting up your catchall account.

Tip

You are then reachable under a theoretically unlimited number of addresses.
