How do I configure my E-mail client?

Please enter the following data:

Server Locations

Server Type Server Protocol Server Address Port
Incoming POP3 POP3 pop.1and1.co.uk 110
Incoming IMAP IMAP imap.1and1.co.uk 143
Outgoing SMTP auth.smtp.1and1.co.uk 25 or 587

Please note: our SMTP server (the outgoing mailserver) requires you to log in before it will accept any emails. Please use the same username/password as you do for retrieving emails (e.g. m123456-1234)

When you configure your mail account in your 1&1 Control Panel, your mailbox username is defined in the format m"seven-digit-number"-"self-defined-number". You can choose your own password.

Please note
After you've created a new mail account in your 1&1 Control Panel, there will be a delay until it's fully functional. This may take up to four hours!

Please note
After the initial 3 hours your new Mailbox can be accessed through the 1&1 WebMail system or through an e-mail client of your choice.

Tip
If Port 25 for sending mail is blocked then you can use Port 587
