I cannot edit DNS Settings. Why?
The following are the reasons for not being able to edit DNS Settings:

Your domain may be assigned to WebsiteBuilder or WebsiteCreator. To disable it,
In WebsiteBuilder:
Click 'Applications' -> 'WebsiteBuilder' and then click on the 'Settings' button for the
Website in the list which has the assigned domain you wish to activate FrontPage
for. In the drop down list alongside 'Put website online at', choose '-none
selected-' and click 'Ok'.
In WebsiteCreator:
Click 'Applications' -> 'WebsiteCreator' and then click on 'Assign Domain' and select
'None (Unassign WSC)' from the drop down menu. Click 'Submit'.

Your domain may be assigned to in2Site Live Dialogue. To disable it, click on 'Applications' -> 'in2site Live Dialogue'. Click 'Edit'. Select another domain or choose '-please select-' to not assign any domain to in2Site Live Dialogue.

There may be a Domain Setup Error. Contact 1&1 Support.

DNS Management is dependent on the features of the package and is available with all current domain packages advertised on the 1&1 website.
Older domain packages may not have full DNS management. Upgrade to the latest version to access this feature.
Please contact 1&1 Technical support if you are unable to determine if your package supports DNS management.
