How do I integrate Affliliate Links into WebsiteBuilder?


You have 2 ways of doing it.

INSERTING JUST THE LINK WITHOUT ANY BANNER OR IMAGE

1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at 1&1 Control Panel

If you have only one contract, you will be taken to the Administration area. If you have
multiple contracts, then you will be taken to the Packages Area. Click Account tab on the top.

2. Click Link & Banners under Affiliate Program.

3. Copy the link.

4. Open WebsiteBuilder's Content window. Navigate to the page where you want to
insert the link. Enter the text, for eg: "Great stuff at 1&1. Sign up NOW!!!!"
Highlight it and click the link icon.

5. Go to Other Web Pages. Enter the affiliate link and click OK.

INSERTING THE LINK WITH A BANNER OR IMAGE

1. You cannot just enter the HTML code into the WSB editor. WSB does not accept HTML code.

2. You can use your own images. First upload the image of your choice by following
the instructions in FAQ: How to insert images

3. After the image is inserted, highlight the image and click the link icon. Go to
Other Web pages and enter the affiliate link. Click OK.

INSERTING THE LINK WITH HTML

1. Launch WSB editor.

2. Use this HTML replace xxxxxxx with your customer ID and copy it:

<img src="http://banner.1and1.com/xml/banner?size=2%26%number=1" width="468" height="60" alt="Banner"  border="0"/></a>

3. Click in the text area of WSB and hit [Ctrl + v].

4. Select In HTML code and click OK
Note: If you are using Mozilla Firefox hit Ctrl+v again to make the OK button selectable.
